SURFACE GRINDING
Surface grinding is a method of processing the surface of an object using a grinding wheel on a surface grinder. It is mainly used for mold parts and high-precision parts that require parallelism and flatness. Surface grinding improves parallelism, flatness, and surface roughness, which helps reduce wear on parts.
Generally, it is used for square objects, fixing the object on a magnetic chuck on the surface grinder for processing. By managing the top surface of the magnetic chuck, it is possible to achieve high-precision and high-accuracy processing of parallelism and flatness. (At FINECS Vietnam, we use 8-point pieces to manage parallelism and flatness within 2μm, achieving high precision and accuracy.)
We can also perform groove processing and step processing with high precision and accuracy. For groove processing, our unique processing methods and skilled techniques allow us to manage parallelism and straightness with micron accuracy.
By changing the grinding wheel, we can perform surface grinding on materials other than iron, such as aluminum, stainless steel, carbide, ceramics, and glass. At FINECS Vietnam, we strictly manage parallelism, flatness, and straightness, always maintaining a standard of 2μm or less.
We mainly receive inquiries for ultra-precision mold parts and high-precision parts such as press molds and forming molds. We pride ourselves on achieving accuracy that meets strict customer requirements.
We have introduced equipment from Japanese manufacturers such as NICCO and OKAMOTO, and we perform high-precision and high-accuracy processing in a temperature-controlled room. We can handle work sizes up to Max 800×400, and for larger sizes, we can discuss further.
Additionally, we provide comprehensive support for press molds, including design, processing, assembly, and adjustment. We handle materials such as heat-treated materials like SKD11, SKH51, SKS, as well as carbide, aluminum, and copper.
In recent years, exports to the United States, Japan, and Europe (France, Germany, the Netherlands) have increased. We respond to strict customer requirements as needed and have received high evaluations from our customers.
