Press Dies

FINECS Vietnam has experience in manufacturing press dies for a wide range of fields such as semiconductors, automotive, printers, jewelry, etc.

Press dies are molds used in press machines and have a structure consisting of an upper and lower pair. Sheet materials such as steel are placed between the upper and lower dies, and the press machine clamps from above and below to deform (shape) the material to create the product. There are various types of press dies such as "cutting dies," "bending dies," "drawing dies," "compression dies," etc. In terms of production methods, there are "simple dies," "progressive dies," "transfer dies," etc. The components of press dies include "punch," "die," "die set," "guide post," "punch plate," "stripper plate," "backing plate," "die plate," etc.

Press dies are costly to manufacture but enable mass production with stable quality and minimal variation. Therefore, they are mainly used in fields such as automotive parts, household electronics, electronic components, etc.
