Copper
Copper (pure copper) is produced by melting copper ore from raw materials in a furnace, removing sulfur and iron by adding silicic acid and oxygen, then removing oxygen, and finally electrolyzing to separate impurities. The impurities include gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and sulfuric acid, etc.
There are various types of copper. By adding tin or zinc, bronze (tin bronze) or brass is created. Copper is commonly used for long-lasting products due to its ease of processing and rust resistance. It is often used as a material for shipbuilding, construction, and everyday items, etc. Additionally, because copper has high thermal and electrical conductivity, it is frequently used in electronic devices, etc.
